Take a chance on the Mega Jackpot
28 July, 2004
Uthingo has guaranteed Saturday’s LOTTO Jackpot at R15 million, and for an additional R1 per entry, players also stand in line to walk away with the estimated R1,5 million LOTTO Plus Jackpot, if they correctly match the winning numbers.
“We’re urging people to take a chance because there’s mega-millions to be won. The treasure is waiting to be collected by the fortunate player or players who’ll get all six winning numbers correctly,” says Uthingo spokesman, Moemise Motsepe.
He says LOTTO’s most frequently drawn number is 30, which has been part of the winning line-up 75 times – 67 times as a winning number and eight times as a bonus number.
In LOTTO Plus, number 41 comes out tops as the most frequently drawn number. It has never been drawn as a bonus number, but has rolled out as a winning number in 17 draws.
Motsepe says public reliance on QUICKPICK has now risen to more than 33%, “because people now know that the method does create millionaires. It is simple, fast and convenient. Almost a quarter of Lottery millionaires earned their millions thanks to QUICKPICK”.
