A LOTTO millionaire is on the run

A LOTTO millionaire is on the run after allegedly taking £15,000 in benefits.
Satish Patel claimed income support for THREE YEARS after winning £1,507,231.
An arrest warrant was issued after he failed to appear at London’s Marylebone court on six specimen charges of false declarations.
The case against the dad of two, who tried to keep his windfall a secret, was brought after a tip-off. He is alleged to have continued to draw benefit of £117 a week despite his win.
And he continued to live at his modest fourth-floor council flat in Ladbroke Grove, West London.
Patel, 53, is now in India receiving treatment for a skin disorder. His son Rakesh, 25, said: “Dad did have a Lottery win but he never said how much.
“I’m surprised to hear it was as much as £1.5million because he never bought me any presents.
“It was never a case of, ‘Here you are son. Have this new motor’.”
Rakesh added: “I wouldn’t say he was tight, just careful when he is spending money.
“He’s diabetic and doesn’t work. All I know is he doesn’t claim benefit any more and pays the rent himself.
“I know he was due in court because a benefit official came round to find out where he was.
